Hand feeding the animals
Pick up a bag of animal food (for a small fee) as you enter the park.
It’s the best way to get up close to the kangaroos, emus, wallabies, potoroos and waterfowl who live in the park.
You can feed the animals, get some great photos and even touch them. By moving slowly and quietly you will get the chance to see many of our animals.
Please remember to respect the health and wellbeing of the animals by never making them feel threatened (by surrounding or poking them, for example). This means you are more likely to experience some truly memorable encounters.
Be aware that all wildlife have the potential to carry diseases, so washing your hands thoroughly after touching or feeding them is essential.
