Cleland's 49th birthday
Date posted: 11 April 2016
You’re invited to our 49th birthday party!
Join us for a day packed with special birthday activities this Saturday 16 April. The perfect way to kick off the school holidays, the fun starts at 9.30am and keeps going until we close at 5pm.
The first 200 children will receive a free bag of animal feed so they can enjoy getting up close to our free-roaming kangaroos, wallabies, potoroos and emus.
We will unveil our new totem pole sculpture, The Spirit of Cleland, a gift from our generous volunteers and hear from Tim Baulderstone, the artist who created it using a chainsaw and angle grinder.
There will be free face painting, special keeper talks and animal feeding throughout the day. Plus our dingo pups will enjoy their first public outing in the dingo enclosure – don't tell them, but we even have a dingo-friendly birthday cake.
See below for full schedule.
We can’t wait to see you.
