Cleland’s Artist in Residence program - January 2014
Date posted: 10 January 2014
Cleland welcomes our next artist in residence, Sophie Hann, who will be with us until 2 February 2014.
Sophie hopes to use her time at Cleland to continue her investigation into ideas about the impact of the natural world on out psyche, as well as the flipside of human interaction with the natural world: the desire to harness and control our natural resources at a great cost.
Cleland’s Artist in Residence program is designed to showcase Adelaide’s vibrant artistic community. Each month Cleland will have a different artist curating and displaying their own work for our visitors to look over. Artists have been selected from all genres, from the very eclectic and contemporary works all the way through to the most traditional forms.
There will be something for everyone to enjoy, with opportunities to also get involved. Make sure you check out the Oceans to Outback Interpretive Centre to see what our artists are up to and to view their works
Come and get involved
