Koala Close-up

Koalas are one of the most recognisable Australian animals, they are known and loved worldwide. Cleland is known for its koala experiences – every day you can get up close to one of our koalas.

The Koala Close-up session is an opportunity to meet a koala and a koala keeper. You can stand right next to the koala and have the opportunity to feel their fur, as well as take your own photo next to the koala. This koala close-up session is extremely popular, and as it is a line-up system, we cannot guarantee spots for everybody.

This experience takes place from 11am-12pm.

Please note that koala experiences will not be held if temperatures are forecast to be 32 degrees and above at Mt Barker. After 3 consecutive hot days of 32 degrees or above at Mount Barker, our koalas will receive a rest day. In this instance this experience will be cancelled.
